Privacy

Interim privacy notice for Painini.

Painini is still finalizing its full legal documents. This page is an interim privacy notice so people using the beta understand the broad shape of how the product works today.

Interim Status

This notice is not a finished legal policy. It is a plain-language summary of our current product behavior while the formal privacy policy is being prepared.

What Painini stores today

  • Account details required for authentication and product access
  • Notes you create or refine inside the product
  • Writing outputs, detected errors, and scores used to power your history and learning features
  • Credits, streaks, quiz results, rewards, and other progression data tied to your account
  • Basic operational logs needed to run, debug, and secure the service

How that information is used

  • To refine text and return structured writing feedback
  • To save notes and power dashboard, learning, and gamification surfaces
  • To prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
  • To understand feature quality and AI performance through internal observability tools

Third-party services

Painini currently relies on external providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, and AI functionality. Those providers may process data needed to perform their part of the service.

Analytics

Painini uses Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, feature interactions, and aggregate engagement metrics. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You can opt out of analytics tracking by using browser-level ad or tracker blockers.

Beta note

If you are using Painini during beta, please avoid pasting highly sensitive or regulated information until the full privacy documentation is published.
